Tata Motors has commenced pre-bookings of the Tata Nexon AMT in India. The company has released the complete features of the AMT variant as well.
The Tata Nexon AMT has a 6-speed automated manual transmission. The AMT option is available with the 1.2L Revotron petrol engine and even the 1.5L Revotorq diesel engine. Currently, no other B-SUV is available in a diesel-AMT configuration. The engine output figures are the same as in the MT variant, 110 PS and 170 Nm for the petrol engine and 110 PS and 260 Nm for the diesel engine. The drive modes also are the same: Eco, City and Sport. In addition, the AMT variant gets Creep function and Smart Hill Assist.
The Tata Nexon AMT is available exclusively in the XZA+ grade. This means that it gets all the features of the Tata Nexon XZ+, including projector headlamps with DRL, 16-inch alloy wheels, LED tail lamps, Shark-fin antenna, 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with GPS navigation, front and rear central armrest and 60:40 split folding rear seats. Exclusive to the AMT variant is a PEPS key, which provides a keyless entry with a wristband like in a Range Rover. The complete list of features is available in the updated brochure now.

Dealerships across India are accepting pre-orders for the Tata Nexon AMT for an amount of INR 11,000. With the AMT variant, the company has introduced a new Etna Orange body colour with a Sonic Silver dual-tone roof.
