2017 Honda Jazz vs. 2013 Honda Jazz – Old vs. New
I’m the international news editor at IndianAutosBlog.com. I love everything that has a steering wheel!
Here’s a visual comparison between the 2017 (facelifted) Honda Jazz and the 2013 (pre-facelift) Honda Jazz.
The Honda Jazz gets minor styling changes on the outside with the facelift. At the front, Honda has tweaked the grille and moved it higher up, repositioned its logo, tweaked the headlamp graphics and revised the bumper for a more aggressive look. Black ORVMs and new-design wheels add more substance to the sides, while at the rear, the new Honda Jazz gets a sportier tailgate spoiler, tweaked tail lamps and restyled bumper. The headlamps and tail lamps both get LED lighting now.
Honda is yet to completely reveal the interior of the 2017 Honda Jazz, but from the images released online so far, it’s clear that the facelift brings fresh upholstery choices to the car.
The 2017 Honda Jazz will continue with the previously available 1.3-litre i-VTEC and 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engines and the 1.5-litre i-VTEC + i-DCD petrol-electric hybrid powertrain in Japan. Honda has improved the car’s safety with the addition of the Honda Suite range of driver-assistive technologies like Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane Keeping Assist System, Adaptive Cruise Control and Traffic Sign Recognition among others.
The 2017 Honda Jazz will go on sale in Japan in late-June 2017. Honda is expected to reveal complete details of the new model closer to the launch, and roll out the model in other Asian markets, including India, from H2 2017.
