Ford's European mid-size sedan gets Ford Performance-inspired treatment.
Besides the Ford Kuga ST-Line, Ford displayed the new Ford Mondeo ST-Line at the 2016 Bologna Motor Show. The Ford Mondeo ST-Line, introduced at the 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed in June, features Ford Performance-inspired styling.
On the outside, the ST-Line variant sports LED daytime running lights with light tube styling, new rectangular fog lamps, front bumper lip spoiler, body-coloured side-skirts, sports rear bumper, black beltline beneath the windows, ST-Line badge on front fenders, new 18-inch alloys wheels with bright machined surface or 19-inch alloy wheels in Rock Metallic Grey and rear roof spoiler.
The Ford Mondeo ST-Line's interior features include, ST-Line scuff plates, sport seats in cloth or optional partial leather with unique red stitching, perforated leather ST-style steering wheel, black interior door appliques and sports gear knob (manual transmission).
The Ford Mondeo ST-Line's only mechanical upgrade is a sport suspension which lowers the car by 10 mm. It's available with 160 PS 1.5-litre EcoBoost petrol, 203 PS 2.0-litre EcoBoost petrol, 240 PS 2.0-litre EcoBoost petrol, 150 PS 2.0-litre TDCi diesel, 180 PS 2.0-litre TDCi diesel and 210 PS 2.0-litre TDCi twin-turbo diesel engine options. Transmission choices include 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic and 6-speed PowerShift dual-clutch automatic. An all-wheel drive system is available in select configurations.
