Features Tesla Model X-like front-end.
The Tesla Model S, originally launched in June 2012, was introduced in an updated avatar last week. The minor facelift brought the Tesla Model S's exterior closer to that of the Tesla Model X crossover launched late last year. A video from YouTube user Bjørn Nyland gives a close look at the facelifted Tesla Model S and shows the various exterior tweaks made to the car.

The "world’s first premium electric sedan" features a new grille-less face, new adaptive full LED headlights, a full body color front bumper, body-colored rocker panels, tweaked taillamps and body-colored sides on the rear bumper. The new Model S gains the Model X's HEPA air filtration system with Bioweapon Defense Mode, and two new trim choices: Dark Ash Wood Décor and Figured Ash Wood Decor.
With the facelift, the Tesla Model S's onboard charger has been upgraded from 40 amps to 48 amps. The range includes four models: 70, 70D, 90D and P 90D. The S 70 is a rear-wheel drive model featuring a 70 kWh battery that provides a driving range of 234 miles (374 km), 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) acceleration time of 5.5 seconds and a top speed of 140 mph (225 km/h). The all-wheel drive system-equipped S 70D provides a better driving range - 240 miles (386 km), and reduces the 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) acceleration time to 5.2 seconds.

The Model S 90D packs a 90 kWh battery that provides a driving range of 294 miles (473 km), 0-60 mph acceleration time of 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). The P 90D model is simply a more capable 90D model, capable of reaching from 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) in just 3.1 seconds (2.8 seconds with Ludicrous Speed Upgrade). One more difference is that the P 90D's driving range is relatively lesser – 270 miles (434 km).
