Ford has launched the third generation Ford Endeavour in Mumbai, India today. Prices range from INR 24.75 Lakhs to INR 29.46 lakhs (ex-showroom Mumbai). Below is a large gallery of images covering each aspect of the SUV.
The new Endeavour measures 4,892 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width, 1,837 mm in height, has a 2,850 mm wheelbase and a ground clearance of 225 mm. Ford claims that the Endeavour has a water wading capacity of 800 mm and a fuel tank capacity of 80 liters.
It will be available in two trim levels: Trend and Titanium. Few of the features standard in the Titanium trim are reclining, sliding and 60:40 split for second row seats, third row seats with 50:50 fold flat, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, leather upholstery, interior ambient lighting, and Ford MyKey with remote keyless entry.
Other features include power retractable wing mirrors, rear AC with ceiling vents for second- and third-row, steering-mounted audio controls, dual-zone HVAC, powered tailgate, cruise control, electrochromatic rear view mirror, power folding third row seat, SYNC with voice control, TFT
touchscreen with Bluetooth/CD/AUX-in/USB ports and a 10-speaker audio system.
The top-end Titanium variant is available with a 3.2-liter five-cylinder TDCi diesel engine developing 200 PS at 3,000 rpm and 470 Nm of torque at 1,750-2,500 rpm. It comes paired to a 6-speed AT as standard as well as a 4WD system with Terrain Management.
A smaller 2.2-liter four-cylinder TDCi diesel engine is also available in Trend and Titanium, which is capable of 160 PS at 3,200 rpm and 385 Nm of torque at 1,600-2,500 rpm. A 6-speed MT with RWD is standard in the base Trend model, while a 6-speed AT or 4WD is optional.
