Offers 25 liters more boot space than its predecessor.
Joining its hatchback cousin, the 2015 Skoda Fabia Combi had its world premiere at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
Based on the Fabia hatch, the more practical Combi sees a length extension which goes into enhancing the interior space and the boot space. With the seats up, the car can pack in 530 liters of luggage, and this number increases to 1,395 liters with the rear seats folded. Compared to its predecessor, the new Combi can store 25 liters more luggage.
Overall, compared to the previous generation model, the new Combi is 10 mm longer, 90 mm wider and 31 mm lower.
Power for the new Combi comes from the same set of three- and four-cylinder engines on the new Fabia, which claim to be 17 percent more efficient. The car can be specified with manual and DSG automatic transmissions.
The Combi borrows from the Fabia hatch, items like the new MirrorLink system, apart from the seats, interior trim and dashboard. For the first time, the Fabia Combi can be had with a panoramic sunroof as well.
The new Fabia Combi will hit European dealerships in early 2015. Skoda says that till date, it has delivered over 1.1 million units of the Fabia Combi to customers.
