BMW has announced the BMW M235i Track Edition in the Netherlands. Differentiated from the standard car with a new front splitter, revised side skirts and a rear diffuser, the race-eager 2 Series sports a pair of black kidney grilles, a trunk-mounted spoiler, a stainless steel sports exhaust system and 19-inch lightweight alloy wheels.
The interior of the M235i Track Edition embraces three ideal materials for a performance car: Alcantara, carbon fibre and aluminium. It also comes with a cool Alcantara-wrapped sport steering wheel with a race display.
Power is sourced from a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine that produces 326 PS (321.84 bhp) and 450 Nm of torque. It is hooked to an eight-speed automatic transmission letting the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds, before touching an electronically-restricted top speed of 250 km/h.
BMW confirmed that only 12 units will be made, each costing a whopping 83,000 Euros (INR 67.84 lakh).
