The first official photographs of the second generation 2014 Toyota Aygo have come out early. Toyota had sent us teaser images last month confirming the car's unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show which begins tomorrow.
Like the current Aygo, the second gen shares its platform with its French cousins Citroen C1 and Peugeot 108. The new generation models of the French vehicles are also lined up for premiere at the Swiss show.
Sharing a vast majority of parts with the said vehicles, the Toyota Aygo gets different front and rear fascias and comes in three- and five-door styles, with a convertible variant (fabric top), seen on the 108 TOP! and C1 Airscape variants, to boot.
The city car trio share a three-cylinder petrol engine that drives the front wheels. Their production will be from the Toyota Peugeot Citroën Automobile Czech's Kolin plant in Czech Republic.
This post will get updated when more details are available.
