Weeks after launching the Vista, Tata Motors is back in Spain knocking on doors of would-be customers with the cheapest pickup truck in Spain - the Tata Xenon. Tata Motors has appointed a new distributor and is introducing new products.
The third product is rumored to be the Aria this year.
Coming back to the Xenon, Spain receives the model very similar to the version sold in India. As standard, Tata is offering ABS + EBD, Dual front airbags, passenger airbag disconnection, Fog lights, Power steering, Air conditioning, Electric windows (4), Central locking with remote control, speed sensitive door locks, Electric mirrors, and Radio/CD/MP3 player with USB port, auxiliary input and Bluetooth connectivity.
Also on the features list are leather wrapped steering wheel, height adjustable front seats with lumbar adjustment, foldable rear seat, front center armrest, two-tone upholstery, lockable glove box, ground lighting in doors, mirrors with integrated turn signals and rear access step.
The Xenon is powered by a 150hp 2.2-liter DICOR engine, complying to Euro 5 emission standards.
The Xenon wages a price war in Spain with a starting price of 12.16 lakhs, comfortably undercutting the Nissan Navarra that is priced at 17.55 lakhs.
