DSK Motowheels has launched the Hyosung GT250 R LE special edition to mark the first anniversary of HyRyders (a Hyosung sportsbike owners club).
Only 50 units will be made, all of them in a Hurricane Yellow body color with sporty body graphics and bearing the signature of the owners. Exclusive branded merchandise will also be offered with the motorcycle.
The special edition is priced at 2.97 lakh rupees (ex-showroom Pune).
Powered by a four-stroke oil-cooled V-Twin engine that produces 27.6 bhp @ 10,000 rpm and 22.07 Nm @ 8,000 rpm, the motorcycle can attain a top speed of 140 kph. It comes with double disc front brake, twin projector headlamps, upside down forks, electronic fuel injection and adjustable rear set.
The motorcycle will be sold through select dealerships in the country. As the bike's livery is finished in India, DSK can spin off the same special edition on its bigger motorcycles.
The company's representatives said on the sidelines of today's event that another 250cc motorcycle will be added to their lineup in 2014. Though a name was not disclosed, we suspect that it could be the GD250N-EXIV which was launched at the EICMA 2013 bike exhibition in Milan last month.
