1. Maruti Ertiga facelift rendering
IAB's Shoeb Kalania has created a rendering of the upcoming Maruti Ertiga facelift that will be launched this year. With cosmetic changes that include updated grille, front and rear bumpers, and alloy wheels, the vehicle could boast of an improved fuel efficiency as well.
2. Six new Bajaj bikes
Bajaj Auto is planning to launch a total of six products in the next six months. These include the new Platina 100, and multiple products in the Pulsar line up such as the entry-level 150NS, the faired 200SS, and the larger 400 cc twins namely the 400 SS and the 400 CS.
3. Datsun's compact SUV
Datsun is planning a compact SUV, insiders have told IAB. The vehicle will be based on the Go's platform, and is expected to be launched after 2016. It will come to the market after Nissan presents its own compact SUV in the market.
4. Launches from Skoda and VW India
German car maker Volkswagen along with group company Skoda could launch up to 5 models this year, starting with the Jetta facelift, Vento facelift, new Passat, new versions of the Polo hatchback, and the all new Superb.
