The Hyosung Aquila GV250 cruiser has been spotted by readers of Bikeadvice. The bike will take the CKD route into the country and be assembled at Hyosung's facility near Satara in Maharashtra.
The GV250 spied here is exactly same as the model sold by the Korean company in international markets. Once launched at the Auto Expo 2014, it will be the first 250 cc cruiser in India. With the GV250, Hyosung looks to exploit the space between the 220 cc Bajaj Avenger and the 350 cc Royal Enfield Bullet.
The Aquila GV250 gets an oil-cooled V-Twin four-stroke engine that makes 26.21 bhp of peak power.
The GV250 gets separate seats for the rider and the pillion. The inverted telescopic suspension setup at the front, the well cushioned seats and a lengthy chrome exhaust are some noticeable features. The cruiser's perimeter cradle frame is grounded by a 110/90 – 16 59S tyre at the front and a 150/80 – 15 70S at the rear.
Dealers of Hyosung in Pune have reportedly begun taking bookings for the Aquila GV250 for an advance amount of Rs 25,000. It is expected to be positioned as a premium cruiser.
