Fiat held the world premiere of two new models - The Fiat Panda Cross and the Fiat Freemon Cross - at the Geneva Motor Show. Both cars will be launched towards September 2014.
Fiat Panda Cross
Two engine options are available for this pseudo crossover - the 1.3-liter Multijet II Turbodiesel engine making 80 hp and the 0.9 TwinAir Turbo petrol engine making 90 hp. The latter gets a 6-speed A/T with a short first gear, says Fiat, and both come with start/stop as standard.
An independent MacPherson strut suspension system is found at the front and a linked torsion beam setup is placed at the rear. The five-door car gets special 15-inch alloy wheels, electric door mirrors and height-adjustable driver seat.

While the front-wheel drive variant gets a 2.0-liter Multijet II engine that makes 140 hp mated to a 6-speed gearbox, a 2.0-liter Multijet II engine making 170 hp is available for both a 4X2 version where it is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and an on-demand all wheel drive version which gets a 6-speed automatic.
On the inside is a 8.4-inch touchscreen navigator, new black leather seats and 19-inch alloy wheels as standard.
