Offers a wide range of customization.
Fiat-Chrysler Group's performance division Mopar has introduced over 100 accessories for the recently unveiled Fiat 500X compact crossover. The accessories are aimed at sprucing up the exterior and interior of the car, but no performance upgrades are on offer.
Mopar has showcased two kitted up 500Xs at Balocco Proving Grounds, Vercelli, Italy. The first car features a three-coat Amore Red exterior color with white Mopar accessories such as mirror covers, door moulding inserts and bonnet and roof stickers which are classified as 'White Pack'. Other noteworthy features include 18-inch diamond-effect alloy wheels and a boot organizer.
The second unit comes with a 'Greyge' paint job which is complemented by a chrome pack comprising of chrome finished ORVM housings, door moulding, foglight surrounds, bonnet moulding and special mats. The car showcases another 18-inch diamond-finish pattern.
Mopar offers a wide range of customization options for the new compact crossover. The 'Xtra Care' service package is also available as a part of the Mopar Vehicle Protection scheme which extends the warranty to 5 years/75,000 km.
The Fiat 500X will be built alongside its close relative, the Jeep Renegade at the Group's Melfy plant in Italy. The crossover is available with an array of petrol and diesel powertrain options. Sadly, it will not launch in India though.
