Though the Chevrolet Tavera Neo3 is now a common sight on the roads, General Motors will conduct its official launch tomorrow in New Delhi. The launch could be to announce the revised prices influenced by the budget and generate some buzz to build on the vehicle's good start.
General Motors unveiled this product at the Auto Expo alongside the Captiva 2.2 on day 1 of the Expo. It was a media day, but 70,000 people turned up! It was also the first media interaction for Mr Lowell Paddock, the incoming CEO who took over from Mr Karl Slym.
Coming back to the Chevrolet Tavera Neo3, there are two versions categorized by emission norms.
The BS4 version uses a two-liter CRDI engine producing 105 Bhp power and 264 Nm peak torque. This engine is supplied by ICML and is known as the 'G-One' series on the Rhino MUV.
The BS3 variant uses the old 2.5-liter engine producing 78bhp and 186Nm of twist force.
