Just days after its launch in Thailand, the 2019 Ford Everest (2019 Ford Endeavour) has reached Vietnam. There, it will be sold in five different variants at prices ranging from 850 million dongs (INR 25,21,076.62) to 1.2 billion dongs (INR 35,59,167.00). The facelifted Ford Everest will start reaching showrooms across the ASEAN market this August.
From the outside, the new Ford Everest isn't all too different from the previous iteration. Most of the exterior changes are concentrated up front, such as a redesigned grille with three bold chrome-lipped slats, beefier front bumper and a frame for the lower air intake. The only other change is a new design for the 18-inch six-double-spoke alloy rims. New to the 2019 Everest is a foot-activated power tailgate that is standard in higher trim levels.
The interior is virtually identical to the older model. Few of the features standard in the Titanium trim include reclining, sliding and 60:40 split for second row seats, third row seats with 50:50 fold flat, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, leather upholstery, interior ambient lighting, Ford MyKey with remote keyless entry, steering-mounted audio controls, dual-zone HVAC, cruise control, electrochromatic rearview mirror, power folding third-row seat and SYNC 3 touchscreen system. New to the facelifted Everest is Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) system that detects both vehicles and pedestrians ahead and applies the brake if the driver fails to do so.

There are two new engine options. The new Ford Everest comes with a smaller, 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that produces 180 PS and 420 Nm of torque in four trim levels and a twin-turbo version of the same engine that develops 213 PS and 500 Nm of torque. The twin-turbo version is available in only the Titanium variant. The base Trend MT will come with a 6-speed manual transmission paired to the 180 PS 2.0L motor, while a new 10-speed automatic transmission is standard in rest of the variants. Only the twin turbo 213 PS 2.0L motor option gets 4x4 as standard.
