Following the recent leak, Toyota has revealed the 2018 Toyota Corolla Axio and 2018 Toyota Corolla Fielder for Japan. This is the second facelift for the eleventh-gen Corolla Axio and the Toyota Fielder 2018.
The Toyota Corolla Axio and Toyota Fielder 2018 feature newly designed front bumper and grille. The WxB grade has adopted mesh pattern grille, rear spoiler (Corolla Axio) and grey stripe trim for seat back. White coloured seats popular in the Corolla Fielder WxB have now made it to the Corolla Axio WxB.
With the first facelift, the old Toyota Corolla Axio and Toyota Corolla Fielder debuted the Toyota Safety Sense C package. This safety suite for compact cars is standard across the new Toyota Corolla Axio and Toyota Corolla Fielder range. In addition, the new models feature Intelligent Clearance Sonar that helps prevent or mitigate collisions caused by rapid acceleration after pedal misapplication. On detecting an obstacle, the system reduces the engine or motor output and automatically applies the brakes if the distance to the object is further reduced.

Toyota has a monthly sales target of 2,500 units for the new Corolla Axio and 3,700 units for the new Corolla Fielder.
