Mazda is showcasing the Mazda2 duo of small cars at the 2017 Bangkok International Motor Show.
The Mazda2 is available in hatchback and sedan versions in Thailand, and in petrol and diesel. The Mazda2 petrol is powered by the 1.3-litre SKYACTIV-G four-cylinder unit that develops 93 PS at 5,800 rpm and 123 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. Power is sent to the wheels via the standard 6-speed SKYACTIV-DRIVE automatic transmission. The Mazda2 diesel gets its power from the 1.5-litre SKYACTIV-D four-cylinder unit that produces 105 PS at 4,000 rpm and 250 Nm of torque between 1,500 rpm and 2,500 rpm. The 6-speed SKYACTIV-DRIVE automatic transmission is standard.
The Mazda2 (hatchback/sedan) is offered in six different configurations. The petrol model is available in 1.3 Standard, 1.3 High and 1.3 High Plus grades, while the diesel model is available in XD, XD High and XD High Plus grades. Noteworthy features of the Mazda2 include chrome exhaust tips, Mazda Active Driving Display (head-up display), 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, electrically adjustable rear view mirror, keyless entry and engine push-start button are some of the noteworthy features of the Mazda2.
