Changes likely to be cosmetic in nature.
An Instagram post from Naza World has confirmed that Perodua is launching a facelift for the Myvi on May 7 at the “Riuh Bersama Perodua” event in Naza Mekar’s Perodua showroom.
Given that the teaser confirms the new Myvi undergoing a facelift, there will be no changes to the engine lineup. The model undergoing a makeover is the Myvi 1.5L, which packs a 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine with 102 hp and 136 Nm, available with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic gearbox.
The changes are likely to be soft in nature as the Myvi 1.5L was given a major facelift just last year, featuring an aggressive body kit, 14 inch 5-spoke rims, and projector headlamps with LED guide lights. At the moment, specific details on the 2016 model are not available.

The current Myvi 1.5L starts from RM 50,500 (INR 8.39 lakhs) for the SE manual and RM 53,500 (INR 8.89 lakhs) for the automatic transmission model, while the range-topping 1.5 Advance begins at RM 58,500 (INR 9.71 lakhs). Expect the facelifted to model to be sold at similar prices.
