DSK Hyosung launched the Aquila 250 at the Auto Expo. The cruiser is priced at INR 2.69 lakhs, ex-Showroom, New Delhi.
Power for the Aquila 250 comes from a V-Twin, oil-cooled, DOHC, 8 valve engine which produces 26.21 bhp of maximum power at 9,500 rpm and 21.37 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. It gets paired to a 5-speed gearbox.
The Aquila uses telescopic front suspension and hydraulic dual shock absorbers at the rear. The cruiser gets lots of chrome parts, a large windscreen, contrast stitching for the seats and alloy wheels. Three color options are available on the Aquila 250 - Black, Red and White.
The Aquila 250 measures 2,282 mm in length, 875 mm in width and 1,096 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 1,515 mm. It weighs in at 179 kg. While the front gets a hydraulic disc brake, the rear makes do with a mechanical drum brake.
The Aquila will be sold in 32 dealerships across the country.
