Chrysler unveiled an updated version of its 300S and showcased it as the 2014 300S at the LA Auto Show.
Two engine options are available on the 2014 300S. The base variants are powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that churns out a healthy 300 bhp and 358 Nm of torque. Also available is a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 that develops 370 bhp.
The V6 engine runs a cold-air induction system along with a sport-tuned exhaust system. It is coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission with steering mounted paddle shifters. Completing the package are 20-inch all-weather tires or 19-inch tires for those who opt for the all wheel drive option.
The cabin comes equipped with Black or Ambassador Blue leather sport seats, silver contrast stitching and piano black trim. You also get "matte carbon hydrographic" accents and die-cast paddle shifters on the steering wheel. A Uconnect infotainment system and a Beats by Dr. Dre audio system with 10-speakers and a 12-channel amplifier can also be specified on the 2014 300S.
The 2014 Chrysler 300S will go on sale next spring and pricing will be announced closer to launch.
