The petrol unit is paired to a 6-speed INVECS III automatic transmission that features ‘sport mode’ and paddle shifters on the steering wheel. The turning radius of the MPV is 5.7 meters.
The car delivers high level of safety with Stability Control, Hill Start Assist, Cornering Lights, ABS with EBD, and 5 airbags – dual front, curtain airbags, and knee airbag for the driver.
The car is loaded with luxury features such as a standard Plasmacluster air cleaner to purify the air in the cabin, Keyless operation, rear-view camera, a multi-function infotainment system with 6.5-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation system, and a rear entertainment system with 10.2-inch LED Back Light roof monitor. The MPV has sliding doors for both sides and seats 7 including the driver.
The Delica Space Wagon will be imported from Japan for the Thai market. It was reported last month that the Hindustan Motor Finance Corp (HMFCL), who deals with Mitsubishi cars in India, is considering Delica MPV for a launch in 3-4 years.
