ET Auto reports that Tata Motors (including Jaguar Land Rover) could showcase over 25 products at the Auto Expo 2016 in Noida, which opens its doors on February 5 for the public, and on February 3 for the media.
Along with the current range that includes the Tata Bolt, Zest, Tata Safari Storme, and GenX Nano, Tata will also showcase the recently previewed Tata Zica hatchback. As for motor show debuts, Tata will unveil the Indigo eCS-replacing Tata Zica sub-4m sedan (Tata Sway), production-spec Tata Nexon sub-4m SUV and the flagship Tata Hexa crossover.
While the Zica hatchback is expected to launch shortly, the Zica sedan is reported to go on sale in the second half of 2016. The Nexon and Hexa crossovers are rumored to arrive in showrooms following the Zica twins.
Tata-owned Jaguar Land Rover will showcase the India-spec Jaguar XE at the Auto Expo, which will initially offer a petrol engine lineup. Other products in the Auto Expo lineup include the Jaguar F-Pace crossover, 2016 Jaguar XF, 2016 Jaguar XJ (facelift) and the 2-door F-Type coupe/convertible.
For the Auto Expo, Tata Motors is expected to pull out all the stops to make it a grand showcase of Tata Motors’ vision of the future, and garner attention towards the latest product range. According to a Tata spokesperson, the company’s theme for the exhibition is “#TataMotorsSmartHub”, which is derived from the synergy between ‘Smart Technology’ and ‘Smart Products’.
