To come in five variants: S, SX, SX AT, SX (O), SX (O) AT.
One of the members of The Automotive India forum has managed to acquire the final specification and feature list of the 2016 Hyundai Elantra, ahead of its market launch on August 23.
According to the info, the Hyundai Elantra will offer both petrol and diesel engine options spread across five variants: S, SX, SX AT, SX(O), SX(O) AT. The petrol variant will pack a 2.0L MPI four cylinder engine producing 152 PS and 190 Nm, while the diesel variant is powered by a 1.6 CRDi engine with 128 PS and 265 Nm of torque.
A six speed manual gearbox is standard in both variants, while an automatic gearbox is optional. The report also reveals its fuel efficiency figures, which is 22.4 km/L for diesel MT and 14.6 km/L for petrol MT.

The top-end Hyundai Elantra will come equipped with projector headlamps, 'boomerang' LED daytime running lights, 16-inch alloy rims, LED taillights, shark fin antenna, parking sensors, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay support, satellite navigation, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, anti pinch sunroof and start/stop button.
