Gets a 4-speed automatic gearbox as an option.
The India-made Hyundai i20 has made its Indonesian debut at the 2016 GIIAS. It replaces the Hyundai Grand Avega, and is priced at 249 million rupiah and 263 million rupiah for the petrol MT and petrol AT variants (INR 12.69 lakhs and INR 13.4 lakhs respectively).
For the Indonesian market, the Hyundai i20 gets the the 1.4L Gamma VTVT four cylinder petrol engine from the Hyundai Grand Avega, which produces 100 PS and 130 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic gearbox.
The Indonesian-spec Hyundai i20 features regular headlamps, unique 16 inch alloy wheels, dual airbags and ABS as standard across the range, an 8 inch AVN touchscreen display, bluetooth telephony, steering mounted buttons, tilt and telescopic steering adjustment and push button start.

An automatic variant of the Hyundai i20 will soon be introduced in India. It could feature the same 4-speed automatic gearbox paired to the 1.2 Kappa petrol engine.
