According to Zigwheels, the Toyota Innova Crysta will launch in the market in the month of April. Bookings are unofficially open at several dealerships for a minimum amount of INR 50,000.
Unveiled at the Auto Expo 2016, the Innova Crysta is the second generation of the Toyota Innova, which has had its production discontinued. It will be one of the most feature-packed MPVs in the market when it launches, and establishes a premium MPV segment in the country.
The second generation Toyota Innova measures 4,735 mm long, 1,830 mm wide and 1,795 mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,750 mm. Compared to the first gen Innova, it has grown by 150 mm in length, 70 mm in width and 35 mm in height, although the wheelbase is identical.

TKM has not confirmed the engine lineup, or for that matter the launch date of Toyota Innova Crysta, yet. The Indonesian-spec Toyota Innova is available with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 139 PS and 183 Nm of torque and a 2.4-liter GD diesel engine producing 149 PS and 342 Nm of torque with the 5-speed manual transmission or 360 Nm of torque with the 6-speed automatic transmission. A bigger 2.8-liter GD diesel variant with 177 PS could also be considered as it was spotted for the first time on the Innova at the Auto Expo.
