Will be launched by early-2017 in India.
As seen in recent spyshots, Ford has started testing the Ford EcoSport facelift on public roads, affirming that a revised model is under development. Now a set of speculative renderings from Auto Esporte show the likely exterior and interior design of the facelifted EcoSport. The renderings seem to have borrowed cues from spyshots which revealed a few changes on the outside and inside.
The new exterior is inspired by that of the Ford Edge. The new headlamps, hexagonal grille, foglamp housing and basically the entire front fascia is reminiscent of the latter. At the rear, the taillight graphics have also been tweaked with some inspiration from the Edge. Unlike the European version, the spare wheel will continue to be externally mounted on the South American and Asian version. Inside, the new steering wheel and instrument panel also have reflection of the Edge. The Ford SYNC infotainment system gets a new colour display.

The 2017 Ford EcoSport (facelift) should continue being offered with the same engines as now: 123 hp 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol, 110 hp 1.5-litre Ti-VCT petrol and 1.5-litre TDCi diesel. The India-made facelifted EcoSport will be launched in USA in 2017.
