Likely to be introduced in late-2016.
The current Ford EcoSport is due for a mid-life update now. While the European version was given an update last year, the South American and Indian-spec version will likely receive a facelift in late-2016/early-2017.
Ford has started testing the 2017 Ford EcoSport (facelift), as seen in new spyshots published by Autos Segredos, courtesy Ricardo Sobrinho. The test mule seen in spyshots seems to have a new headlight cluster similar to that of the 2016 Ford Endeavour's headlight and a new interior with a new instrument panel.
There's a digital display between the tachometer and speedometer which feature neon blue illuminated dials. Unlike the European version, the spare wheel will continue to be externally mounted.

The Ford SYNC infotainment system seems to have been updated with a new full colour display. The dashboard is made more angular with inspiration from that of the 2016 Ford Endeavour and there are new HVAC control knobs, while the steering wheel and the upper centre console layout remains unchanged.
The engine line-up is expected to remain unchanged, still consisting of the 123 hp 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol, 110 hp 1.5-litre Ti-VCT petrol and the 1.5-litre TDCi diesel.
