Both get the 1.4L T-Jet engine.
FCA India (Fiat Chrysler India) unveiled three products at the Auto Expo 2016: The Fiat Punto Pure, the Fiat Linea 125s and the Fiat Avventura Urban Cross. While the Punto Pure was launched at the show with prices starting at INR 4.49 lakhs, ex-Showroom, New Delhi, the Linea 125s and the Urban Cross will see their market introductions this year.
According to a report on the Economic Times, the Fiat Linea 125s will be launched in mid-2016, whereas the Avventura Urban Cross will have its introduction in the third quarter of this calendar year. When launched, the Linea 125s will be the most powerful petrol-powered mid-size sedan thanks to the 125 PS of power from the 1.4-liter four-cylinder turbocharged T-Jet engine.
Developing 210 Nm of torque, the Linea 125s will closely rival the Hyundai Verna (123 PS) and the Honda City (119 PS), both of which use naturally-aspirated petrol engines with variable valve timing.
The Fiat Avventura Urban Cross also packs the 1.4-liter T-Jet engine but in a different state of tune: 140 PS and 210 Nm of torque, similar to the Fiat Avventura Powered by Abarth edition.
