Fiat Chrysler Automobiles India has unveiled the Fiat Avventura Urban Cross at the ongoing Auto Expo 2016. The vehicle is set to be launched in 2016, the company announced.
The Avventura Urban Cross, based on the Fiat Avventura showcased at the Auto Expo 2014 and subsequently launched, is powered by a 1.4-liter T-Jet petrol engine alone. The engine produces a healthy 140 PS of power at 5,500 rpm and peak torque of 210 Nm between 2,000 and 4,000 rpm. The vehicle measures 4,000 mm in length, 1,700 mm in width, and 1,500 mm in height.
Features on the exterior include LED optical guide taillights, 17-inch alloy wheels, indicators mounted on the outside rear view mirrors along with 'follow-me' headlamps. The car gets fresh alloy wheels and a silver roof rails to make it stand out from its siblings.
On the inside, the car gets a touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth integration, aux unit and satellite navigation. A dual tone cabin and gadgets like a compass and inclinometer are found along with the other equipment.
