The Maruti Vitara Brezza has a distinctive front-end that is characterized by projector headlamps with LED DRLs which flow into a grille with vertical slats and a bold chrome bar. The bumper sports a sizable radiator grille flanked by foglamps.
Safety features in the Vitara Brezza would include ABS, EBD and dual front airbags as standard, according to reports. Other features in the pipeline include reverse parking sensors with parking camera, a touchscreen SmartPlay entertainment system, keyless entry with push button start, three-spoke multifunction steering wheel and automatic climate control.

Engine lineup is expected to include a choice between the 1.3-liter DDiS diesel engine or a 1.2-liter K-Series petrol engine, which could get the option of a CVT (or an AMT) in addition to a 5-speed manual gearbox. It’s unclear if the Vitara Brezza will get Suzuki’s SHVS mild hybrid tech in the diesel variant.
The Vitara Brezza is the first product to be fully developed by Maruti's R&D division in India, and comes nearly four years after Maruti unveiled the XA-Alpha concept SUV at the Auto Expo 2012.
