The demand for the Hyundai Creta has been "strong" from the company's global sales network and channel partners. For this year, HMIL (Hyundai Motors India Limited) is planning on exporting 13,000 units of the Creta to the initial group of markets like the Middle East, Africa and Latin America, reportedly.

Back in India, the Hyundai Creta launched to a resounding success, securing over 15,000 bookings within a short span of 20 days. The high localization levels, compact SUV proportions, and the brimming equipment list typical of a Hyundai have attributed to its success in the local market. The company has set a target of selling around 5,000 units/month.
