Will roll out from the Tapukara plant.
The new 2015 Honda Jazz was spotted at a dealership in India ahead of its launch in July this year (reportedly on July 8, 2015). The model seen here, a petrol with a CVT gearbox, was likely for preview purposes, reports Gaadi.com.
The Indian market Jazz gets a chrome trim for its grille, and a large chrome element for the rear registration plate enclosure. Other features seen on this likely top-end variant include foglights, alloy wheels, turn indicators on the wing mirrors and a rear wiper/washer.
Inside, the highlight features are the automatic transmission with paddle shifters, reported to be borrowed from the Honda City. The dashboard, which is again borrowed from the sedan, sports a Bluetooth-enabled infotainment system and touch-controls for the automatic climate control system.
Coming to the engines, the Jazz for India will be powered by a 1.2-liter petrol or a 1.5-liter diesel unit. The petrol will get CVT and manual transmissions but the diesel will get a manual gearbox only. The variant walk of the new Jazz is expected to be similar to the new City (E, S, V and VX).
