Suzuki has announced two concepts for the 2015 Geneva Motor Show which starts for the media on March 3, 2015, the first of which is a hatchback concept called the iK-2.
According to Suzuki, the iK-2 is "an ideal compact sized car", which is developed with a theme of "Harmonised Force".
"By combining all of the key elements expected in a car of this size the new model raises compact car values to the limit", the company said in a statement.
The iK-2 would have to be the long rumored 'YRA' premium hatchback, expected to launch in India in the second half of this year. It will be positioned above the Swift, to rival top-end variants of the Hyundai Elite i20 and VW Polo.
Based on reports, the iK-2 will be roughly 90 kg lighter than the Swift, and would be powered by a new 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine, apart from a diesel engine.
