Likely to be unveiled at the Geneva show.
The Maruti YRA (codename for the new premium hatchback) may have revealed itself via spyshots, but this rendering from Alvolante is a highly accurate take on the Elite i20 competitor.
If reports are to be believed, the European showcase of the YRA will take place in less than two months from now at the Geneva Motor Show. However, an Indian launch is out of question until the second half of this year.
According to Suzuki's European officials, the YRA will give reasons not to buy the Swift. It will also be about 90 kg lighter than India's best selling premium hatchback, despite being longer. Given the premium positioning, and the light kerb weight of the YRA, it could be that the YRA is constructed from high tensile strength steel, similar to the Ciaz.
The YRA, according to reports, will be powered by a new 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine and a diesel engine (likely the same 1.3-liter MultiJet sourced from Fiat).

Based on spyshots, the YRA will sport an all-black interior with silver inserts for the center console, and will be equipped with features such as steering mounted controls, cruise control, a 2-DIN music system, climate control, electrically-adjustable and folding wing mirrors,
