Why Maruti standing in 1.3 and 1.4 engines respectively, when competitors starts from 1.5 liters. MSIL- when you provide small engines fir hatchback its acceptable, and when you are providing the same engines for your Bigger cars, i think its like giving Cerelac or Nestum to a fully grown MAN. Maruti change the Engines, or people will not think about your products.

1.4 litre petrol engine and 1.3 litre diesel engine puts Ciaz out of competition with City, Verna, Rapid, Vento, Fiesta and others. Small engine size for a mid range car.
