Focus is clearly on the rear seat.
Seen here is the Suzuki Alivio (the Chinese version of the soon-to-launch Maruti Ciaz) parked next to its predecessor, the SX4. Suzuki of China revealed a pre-production Alivio at the Beijing Motor Show in April this year, and sales of the sedan are expected to start in China soon.
Seen exclusive to the Chinese model is a full chrome grille, chrome outlines for the foglight enclosures, a sunroof and dual exhausts mounted within the rear bumper.
A recent report stated that Maruti will be launching the Ciaz early next month in a total of six variants (3 each for petrol and diesel). All variants would come with projector headlights as standard fitment, while the top-end model would get features such as 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control, steering mounted controls, engine starter button, ABS, EBD and dual airbags.
