The production of the Twilight Plum shade of Bajaj’s flagship power cruiser, the Dominar 400, is likely to be limited owing to the lack of demand. After seeing reports on the web of Bajaj phasing out this colour, we got in touch with Bajaj dealers across the country. Dealers said colours that are doing well in the market are Matte Black, Midnight Blue and Moon White.
While many dealers have stock of the bike in Twilight Plum colour, some have not received it in the latest batch. Dealers say that the existing stock will be cleared and then the possibility of phasing out the colour will be considered. The colour is still displayed in Bajaj’s official site, and there’s no official word regarding the phasing out of the colour. We have reached out to Bajaj for an update.

The Dominar uses a 373.3 cc single cylinder liquid cooled mill that doles out 35 PS of power at 8,000 rpm and 35 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. A slip assisted clutch paired with a 6-speed transmission does duty on the bike.
The beam-type perimeter frame is held by 43 mm telescopic forks at the front and a multi-step adjustable monoshock at the rear. The bike is equipped with a 320 mm disc at the front and a 230 mm disc at the rear with dual-channel ABS as an option. The bike features all-LED headlamp, taillight and indicators.
