India Yamaha Motor has reduced the prices of its flagship product, the Yamaha FZ 25, post the introduction of the GST (Goods and Services Tax). All prices in this article are ex-showroom, Delhi.

The Yamaha FZ 25 now has a price tag of INR 119,335 which has been reduced from INR 120,385. The naked quarter-litre was originally launched at INR 119,500 and gets several features like LED headlamp, LED taillamp, digital instrumentation console, and a wide 140-section rear tyre.
The bike is positioned as a mid-class streetfighter and is retailed in three colour options, Knight Black, Ballistic Blue and Warrior White. Targeted towards the age group of 20 to 30 years, the Yamaha FZ 25 continues with Yamaha’s Blue Core technology which promises high performance without compromising on fuel efficiency.
The 249 cc powertrain is coupled to a 5-speed gearbox and produces 20.9 PS of maximum power and 20 Nm of peak torque. The Yamaha FZ 25 tips the scales at 148 kg with a ground clearance of 160 mm.

The Yamaha FZ 25 has a slightly sportier seating position than the Yamaha FZ FI and gets a 15 mm shorter handlebar.
