Market launch confirmed for August.
Hyundai has teased the Indian-spec 2017 Hyundai Verna again, this time with a sketch of the car's interior. IndianAutosBlog has received confirmation from the company's local subsidiary that the all-new Hyundai Verna will arrive in India this August.
The sketch indicates that the Indian-spec 2017 Hyundai Verna's interior is very similar to the global-spec version. Everything from the steering wheel, to the instrument panel, dashboard, centre console, floor console, gearshift lever and the door panels, is completely redesigned. However, a notable difference is the lack of a touchscreen infotainment system here, but that limitation is just in the sketch, and the actual car will have a touchscreen unit with satellite navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, voice control and more features.
The 2017 Hyundai Verna will likely measure 4,385 mm in length, 1,729 mm in width and 1,450 mm in height, and have a wheelbase of 2,580 mm. The current model is offered with 107 PS 1.4-litre Gamma petrol, 123 PS 1.6-litre Gamma petrol, 90 PS 1.4-litre U2 CRDi diesel and 128 PS 1.6-litre U2 CRDi diesel engines and 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmissions. Changes in these aspects are yet unconfirmed.

LED daytime running lights, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, keyless entry, engine start-stop button, automatic climate control, leather steering, gearshift knob and seats, reverse camera, parking sensors, ABS with EBD and six airbags are a few expected features of the 2017 Hyundai Verna.
The current Verna is priced from INR 7.96-13.7 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), and all-new Verna may start at somewhere between INR 8-8.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
