The Bajaj Dominar 400 is the first Bajaj badged product to get dual channel ABS.
A report in Gaadiwaadi claims that Bajaj Auto has trademarked the ‘Adventurer’ name which could be used for the adventure tourer version of the Bajaj Dominar 400. Without saying what they were, the company's MD Rajiv Bajaj said in March that Bajaj Auto would bring out more premium products this year.
A report earlier said that a Scrambler based on the Dominar was coming, and it might be introduced under a new brand name
The Bajaj Dominar 400 is powered by a 373.3 cc single cylinder mill coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine traces its origins to the KTM Duke 390 and produces 35 PS of maximum power and 35 Nm of peak torque. The bike also gets features like LED headlamp and a slipper clutch. Bajaj has been known to create multiple motorcycles from the same platform, and the Bajaj Dominar 400 is expected to be no different.
