All-new Maruti Dzire priced from INR 5.45 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Maruti Suzuki received 33,000 bookings for the 2017 Maruti Dzire at the time of its launch earlier this month. Within ten days, this number has risen to 44,000 units, as per a new report from carandbike.
The all-new Maruti Dzire's bookings officially opened towards the end of April, and now, with 44,000 units booked, the waiting period may have increased from the previously announced 8 weeks. The price of the car ranges between INR 5.45 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and INR 9.41 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The third generation Maruti Dzire is based on the 'Heartect' platform due to which it is more rigid and lighter by 105 kg compared to the previous generation model. There are two engine options available: 1.2-litre VVT petrol and 1.3-litre DDiS 180 diesel. The four-cylinder petrol engine makes 61 kW (81.77 hp) at 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 4,200 rpm, while the diesel engine develops 55 kW (73.73 hp) at 4,000 rpm and 190 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm. Transmission choices include 5-speed manual and 5-speed automated manual. 22.0 km (petrol)/28.4 km/l (diesel) is the ARAI-certified mileage of the 2017 Maruti Dzire.
