Honda Activa comes in 110 cc and 125 cc variants.
A report in Economic Times reveals that the Honda Activa has emerged as the largest selling two-wheeler in the country in FY 2016-17 beating its nearest competitor, the Hero Splendor, by 1.97 lakh units.
While exact figures have not been revealed, Honda Activa, over the past two years, has been overtaking the Splendor’s monthly sales several times. While motorcycles have so far maintained dominance in the rural segment, Honda wants to get a stronghold of the semi-urban and rural sector with the Honda Activa.
