The 2017 KTM Duke 390 gains ride by wire, bigger front disc and a new TFT instrumentation.

The 2017 KTM Duke 390 is powered by a 373.2 cc single cylinder mill which is capable of producing 43.5 PS of maximum power and 37 Nm of peak torque (increased by 2 Nm). The bike continues to have slipper clutch and dual channel ABS as standard.

Additions to the 2017 KTM Duke 390 include a bigger 13.4-litre fuel tank, adjustable front brake and clutch levers, larger 330 mm front disc (up from 300 mm) and 185 mm ground clearance (up from 170 mm). The new Duke 390 also gets a side mounted canister exhaust which helps the bike be Euro 4 compliant. Ride by wire should also assist in delivering a crisper yet linear throttle response.

There are rumours that KTM might not bring the 2017 KTM Duke 200 to India and instead they will update the existing version with cosmetic changes. However, 2017 KTM Duke 200 only gains the design philosophy of the new Duke 390. It neither gets the new LED headlamp nor features like ride by wire. The mystery will persist till 23 Feb 2017.
