Xplorer Edition accessories cost INR 50,000 extra.
Mahindra has launched the KUV100 Xplorer Edition in India. It costs INR 50,000 extra over the price of the Mahindra KUV100, which ranges between INR 5.01-7.81 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Xplorer edition features exclusive accessories that raises the ruggedness of the KUV100's exterior by a notch. It has an 'Xplorer’ badge in the headlamp assembly, side decals, silver plastic cladding on the roof rails, front bumper, side skirts and the rear bottom lip as well. The engine hood has faux air intakes on both sides, while the roof is finished in gloss black.
The KUV100 Xplorer also features black plastic body cladding around the taillights, rear windshield and the roof spoiler, which has a split brake light integrated. Inside, it gets black leather seat covers with a contrasting orange piping.

No changes have been made under the hood. It is offered with a 1.2-litre G80 petrol unit that produces 82 bhp and 115 Nm of torque or a 1.2-litre D75 diesel unit that produces 77 bhp and 190 Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual is the only transmission option offered. It is capable of an ARAI-certified fuel economy of 18.15 km/l and 25.32 km/l in the petrol and diesel variants respectively.
