Tata's first ever sub-4m SUV.
A pre-production Tata Nexon test mules was spied near Satara, Maharashtra, by IAB reader P.K Gautam. It is expected to go on sale in India in H2 2017.
The posterior was photographed up close by our reader. It may be heavily wrapped with the usual prototype camouflage, but noticeable elements look identical to the model unveiled at the Auto Expo 2016, which include the small angular taillamps with LED-powered V-shaped position lights, registration plate area in the bumper, trapezoidal rear foglamp, roof spoiler, and a sharply raked windscreen.
The front and side profile in top-end variants will feature projector headlights, a ceramic side finisher, contrast roof, 16-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, foglamps and gloss black finish for the wide grille. Inside, the Nexon has a dual-tone brown and beige floating dashboard with gloss-finished panels, a 6.5-inch freestanding Harman infotainment system and an 8 speaker audio system.
