Reported to launch in January 2017.
According to Thai reports, Toyota will introduce the new Toyota Vios (facelift) in Thailand in January 2017. The changes are likely to be identical to the Vios facelift showcased at Auto China 2016.
The report states that the new Vios will keep the current model's variant list: 1.5 J, 1.5 E, 1.5 G and 1.5 S. The front-end of the model showcased in China featured a comprehensive facelift, which includes new projector headlights with chrome accents, redesigned upper grille with bigger logo, large hexagonal lower grille with integrated foglights, and separate LED daytime running strips on both sides of the bumper. The rear-end gets LED-powered taillamps, a thinner chrome bottled bar that runs into the taillamps, and a re-profiled bumper.
The interior has been slightly overhauled, but looks vastly identical to the outgoing model. The model to-be-sold in Thailand is reported to have an all black interior with fabric upholstery in 1.5 J and 1.5 E variants, the 1.5 G will feature a padded dashboard, and the top-end 1.5 S gets leather upholstery. Grades G and S will exclusively feature a 7 inch touchscreen infotainment system and rear view camera.
