Fresh information surfaces on the 2017 Honda City features

Several changes arriving with the new Honda City have already been leaked before, and a new report from Cars News Update blog throws light on the features of the 2017 Honda City.

2017 Honda City (India-bound) teased
The 2017 Honda City (facelift) will be available in S, V, V+, SV and SV+ grades.

The 2017 Honda City will be available in Thailand in S, V, V+, SV and SV+ grades. On the outside, the facelifted Honda City features redesigned Civic-inspired headlamps with LED lighting and daytime running lights, restyled bumper with new fog lamp enclosures and new alloy wheels.

According to the new report, only the SV and SV+ grades will get LED lighting in the headlamps, and these grades will feature LED fog lights too.

Inside, the 2017 Honda City gets several changes to the equipment offered in different grades. Map reading light will now be available in V+ grade also, 60:40 split folding rear seats will no longer be there in the SV grade, chrome door handles will be present from the V+ grade, LED cabin lighting across variants, audio controls on the steering wheel from the V grade, gauges glow white in the V and up, and will display driving data with the MID, chrome finish on the hand brake lever in V+, 'Sporty' seats on the SV+, rear armrest with two glass holders in SV, SV+, 3 rear headrests with adjustable height positions only in SV+, downsized 6.8-inch screen with rear view camera in V+, SV and SV+.

The 2017 Honda City (facelift) is expected to continue being powered by the current 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine.

The 2017 Honda City is expected to continue being powered by the current 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine, working in tandem with a 5-speed manual and a continuously variable transmission depending on the grade. As per multiple reports, the Indian launch of the 2017 Honda City will be done next month as well.
