Changes to be introduced in India-spec Honda City early next year.
Based on the revealing teasers released by Honda Thailand, IAB's Shoeb R Kalania has created a rendering of the 2017 Honda City's front-end, giving a first look at the new face.
The model teased by Honda is, reportedly, the top-end SV grade, which comes with new Civic-inspired LED headlamps with integrated DRLs, bold chrome garnish on the grille that runs into the headlamps, revised bumper with new fog lamps enclosures, new alloy wheel design and a new Cosmic Blue metallic color. Much of design cues have been borrowed from the new Civic.
According to a Thai report, the new Honda City will continue to pack the 1.5L i-VTEC petrol engine capable of producing 120 PS at 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm at 4,600 rpm. The base model will come equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox, while rest of the variants get a CVT unit.
