The Yaris is costlier than the base Corolla XLI Manual which is priced at 341,200 pesos, as unlike the Corolla and Etios, the Toyota Yaris is imported as a CBU from Thailand, thus being subjected to a 35% import duty. It is only available in a single variant, which is powered by a 1.5L four cylinder dual VVT-i petrol engine with 107 hp at 6,000 rpm and 140 Nm at 4,200 rpm. The engine is paired with a CVT that sends power to the front wheels.
